We meet in the Garden every Tuesday between 8-10 am (depending on the weather) We love meeting new friends!

Many members are Master Gardeners. One of the best ways to learn is to work with a master gardener/mentor.

Knowing what will grow in the desert is an ongoing challenge! We strive to use best practices, apply what we learn, and share that with our community.

Growing plants in the desert is our passion. Everyone is an expert at something worth sharing! Come share your enthusiasm with us!

Texas Ebony Tree

Zigzag twigs on Epenopsis – Multi-stemmed low-growing shrub, or single specimen tree; attractive dark green foliage

Seasonality: evergreen; partially deciduous in colder zones

Size: 15-30ft with equal spread; slow to moderate growth rate (slow when young, speeds up once established in the ground)

Children are not things to be molded but are people to be unfolded.
